Work page of Paul Grouchy

I am a visiting researcher at the Laboratory of Computer and Information Science of the Helsinki University of Technology in Finland. I am a recent graduate from the Mathematics and Engineering program at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, and am currently on a 3-month work exchange through IAESTE. I will begin working towards my Masters degree in the fall of 2007 with the Space Robotics Group at the University of Toronto Institute for Aerospace Studies in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Research and other interests

Currently, my research area is "model selection in finite mixture models."

I am interested in machine learning, pattern recognition, image processing, data mining, probabilistic modeling, artificial intelligence, robotics, and information theory.
