Luis Gabriel De Alba Rivera

I was a M.Sc. student at Helsinki University of Technology doing the master's programme in Machine Learning and Data Mining (Macadamia). I wrote my thesis under the supervision of D.Sc. (Tech.) Jaakko Hollmén while working in the Parsimonious Modelling research group at HIIT.

Interests

I am interested in the data mining/machine learning processes and how they are used to analyze large datasets.

Projects

• Research Project in Computer and Information Science: "Sampling PCA, enhacing recovered missing values in large scale matrices". The report.

Thesis

• Master's Thesis: "Modeling and Profiling people's way of living: A data mining approach to a health survey". The thesis. I presented the thesis November 26th, 2009 at the CIS lab in TKK, Espoo. The presentation.
