I'm a graduate student and researcher at Aalto University School of Science and Technology and a member of the Parsimonious Modelling group in HIIT and Algodan. Currently, I'm involved in ISMO, a project dealing with structural health monitoring and wireless sensor networks.

I'm interested in probabilistic reasoning with time series models, such as various Hidden Markov Models and the more general Dynamic Bayesian Networks. In addition to computer and information science as my major, I have studied software systems and interactive digital media as minors.
Some of the more specific fields of interest are: pattern recognition, machine learning, probabilistic graphical models, digital signal processing, embedded and distributed systems, and computer graphics. Hobbies include amateur radio and electronics.
