Tentissä tulee hallita syksyn 2007 luennoilla käsitellyt
asiat (ks. seuraava ohje) ja laskuharjoitusten sisältö.

   In the exam, you are expected to master the material studied in the
   lectures of fall 2007 (see below) and the contents of the exercises.

Tentti sisältää neljä (4) tehtävää, joista kustakin voi saada
maksimissaan kuusi (6) pistettä.  Yksi tehtävä tulee suoraan
laskuharjoitustehtävien joukosta.  Yhdessä tehtävässä pyydetään
selittämään joitakin käsitteitä tai lyhenteitä.  Loput kaksi tehtävää
koskevat luennoilla käsiteltyä materiaalia.

   The exam consists of four (4) problems, for which a maximum 
   of six (6) points per problem is possible. One of the
   problems is directly from the weekly exercises. In one 
   problem you are asked to explain some concepts or acronyms. The
   remaining two problems relate to the matters discussed in the lectures. 

Tentissä täytyy olla mukana seuraavat välineet: paperia,
kirjoitusvälineet, trigonometrisiin funktioihin ja logaritmeihin
kykenevä laskin. Muuta materiaalia tentissä ei saa olla mukana.

   Take the following things with you in the exam: paper, writing
   utensils, and a calculator capable of trigonometric and logarithmic
   functions. Nothing else is allowed in the exam.
