## How to read for MTE 1

Equipment: PENCILS AND STUDENT ID.
No any math reference book. No any calculator. Some formula are given in the exam, see ([PDF ]).

Book / Slides: chapters 1-7.

Main topics:
• properties of discrete-time signals and systems
• convolution
• sampling
• discrete transforms in DSP
• analysis of system
• time-domain impulse response, difference equation, block diagram
• frequency-domain responses
• z-plane transfer function, pole-zero plot
• filter types, linear-phase FIR filter
How to read: According to lectures and exercises. See [P1]-[P60] in demo material (problems and answers). In paper exercise sessions most important problems have been reviewed.
